The 2014 Government Sustainability Conference papers have been made available online. The conference again provided delegates from local, state and federal government and the wider public sector with comprehensive analysis and advice on how to address crucial environment issues and embed sustainability within their organisations.
This annual national conference provided opportunities to learn from leading sustainability practitioners in the public sector (with many lessons applicable to other sectors).
By focusing on the environmental issues that need to be addressed by governments and authorities, this conference has become the peak annual environment conference for the public sector.
GOVERNMENT SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE TOPICS INCLUDED:
•How to design an effective sustainability strategy for your organisation.
•How to build a successful business case for a sustainability project.
•The impact of the Federal Government’s environment reforms and maintaining the pursuit of sustainability.
•Climate change adaptation strategies.
•Embedding energy efficiency and resource efficiency measures in your organisation.
