Clean Energy Regulator introduces new reporting software

The Clean Energy Regulator has developed a new online reporting system which will be used by all liable entities required to report their emissions, energy consumption and production under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme.

The system, called the Emissions and Energy Reporting System (EERS) will replace the Online System for Comprehensive Reporting (OSCAR).

From the 2012/2013 reporting year, EERS will be used by controlling corporations and liable entities to prepare and submit all reports required under the NGER Act. OSCAR will remain available to access previously submitted reports.

Interim estimates of 2012-13 emissions will need to be submitted by June 15 2013.
