The Energy Efficiency Assist Program, developed by the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group), aims to help small to medium sized companies in the manufacturing sector to make informed decisions about energy efficiency.
Using funds received from the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism as part of the Energy Efficiency Information Grants Program, the Ai Group has developed a series of short videos on energy efficiency, optimisation and management, and energy saving technologies. The online video topics cover:

• Process Cooling & Refrigeration

• Compressed air
• Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC)
• Easy wins
• Demand Management
• Energy Data Management
• Understanding your bill.
Each video includes a brief introduction and a variety of options to manage energy use more effectively. Options range from technical modifications and additions to process changes. Interactive tools will help companies to identify low cost solutions as well as understand their energy bills and reduce their energy demand.
The Ai Group has also developed an Online Energy Dashboard which can be used to track a business’s energy usage and associated emissions as well as the resultant savings from energy efficiency activities implemented.
